Sundays Are For The Girls

    Introduction

Scrolling through TikTok is definitely in my morning routine! There are so many fun things to find on TikTok from ways to do your flowers, simple wedding DIYs, how to incorporate your pets, and how to put together your ask boxes. But I love TikTok for finding fun things to do. Whether it be a new vegan restaurant or a place to have a date night. For me, date nights can be with your future boo or it can be with the girls! These small businesses are fun, inexpensive, and all-natural!

Natural Annie Essentials Candle Making Experience

Book your girls night out with Natural Annie Essentials in Bridgeport. Annie is an entrepreneur by craft and a mom at heart. She started her business out of her kitchen which led to expanding her garage and now she has a studio located at 1313 Connecticut Ave Studio 2-14.

Annie has continued to sell her bath and body line products at 60 different locations around the USA and Canada, and in 2016 she started her candle line. In the past years, her Candle Making Experience has been a hit, and loves seeing the new creations that people make while they attend. Annie’s candles are 100% vegan, 100% eco-friendly, and 100% recyclable. Candle-making classes are BYOB and $55. The experience is an hour and a half long and you will create your own 19 oz candle and wax melts.

    The Clay Pen

This environment-friendly business is located on Farmington Ave in West Hartford right next to Bartaco. The Clay Pen is a small business that offers fun for all who are wanting to experience art in a new form.

They have adult night classes for couples as well as for your bachelorette, where you can ask about their XXX pieces or stick the classic mug. When having your party there you will have 1-2 instructors and will be taught different techniques and tools that will help you perfect your piece of pottery! If you are looking to create your own piece of pottery from the wheel you can also check out their sister location in Manchester. All classes vary in price.

    Connecticut Watersports

If you are looking for something that is fun, relaxing and a little bit different compared to the other two mentions then Connecticut Watersports is the perfect fit. Ian MacRae the owner and my past classmate runs a licensed boating and watersport company out of Bantam. Ian has over 20 years of being out on the water and loves creating new experiences for others. Connecticut Watersports is the perfect addition to a day up in Litchfield county or taking a sunset cruise. He currently offers private charters for up to 18 people and you can bring your own snacks and drinks. To take a cruise on Bantam Lake with Connecticut Watersports with a starting cost of $240.
